Generation of dust when unloading materials from trucks, typical cases are waste collection tanks and raw material storage hoppers.
When loading the body, columns of dust develop which reduce the visibility of the area (dangerous for truck manoeuvres), irritate the eyes and respiratory tracts of the operators in the area, and which generate large deposits of dust in the surrounding areas with the consequent need for periodic cleaning of area.
Thanks to the installation of AIROX nebulizers integrated in FOGHER multi-nebulizer modules in strategic points, it is possible to create a fog coverage of the storage area which prevents dust from spreading into the environment. In the case in question, 3 FOGHER modules (each composed of 3 IMPACT nebulizers) per side were installed on the right and left of the unloading side of the truck.
To make fog capture even more effective, protections with rubber straps have been created to reduce the dispersive effect of the wind. The protections were made by the customer following our instructions technicians.
The further advantage is that the dust captured by the micronized artificial fog obtained by atomization at low working pressures of the air/water fluids remains bound to the material that generated them, therefore remaining integrated into the production cycle without the need for disposal/cleaning of filtration systems. The quantity of water is infinitesimal: this means that it does not lead to the formation of sludge in the vehicle handling area.
