Encrustations of material in feed silos and soy lecithin due to the increase in temperatures in the summer season. With the increase in temperatures and humidity levels, there is greater difficulty in managing organic and oily molasses silage material: the material tends more easily to compact and create blocks and concretions, bridges and rat-holes which they hinder the normal flow of material, preventing its extraction and generating periodic plant downtime due to lack of material in the production chain. In the case of perishable organic substances, as in the case in question, areas of material stagnation (dead zones) are created where the material degrades. This affects the quality of the material (development of mould, fungi, bacteria) and operational safety (development of potentially explosive gases).
Creation of an AIRFLASH cannon system in the PPI Pick-Power-Impulser variant on two different levels of the storage silo. Firing point equipped with AIRFOM DN100 valve on the upper level and AIRFOM DN50 on the lower level complete with KYOTO shutter device (patented) for dosing the power. Each AIRFOM valve has been combined with a circular EOLO fluidifier for optimal distribution of shock waves. The choice of the PPI system allowed the cannon system to be created with minimal installation dimensions, thanks to the use of normal DN100 piping on site of the traditional cannon tanks.
No less important aspect: thanks to the cleaning and fluidizing action carried out by the AIRFLASH cannon system it is possible to maintain the quality of the stored material: the continuous movement promotes a continuous turnover in the stored material and prevents the formation of material deposits (dead zones) where the material risks deteriorating.
Typical application cases: storage facilities for sugar, soybeans, grains, bran and flour, wheat, feed.
