Non-availability of material in the production chain due to the formation of a bridge of material at a higher level than the extraction screw. Continuous slowdowns and production stops with extraordinary maintenance actions for the manual release of the accumulation of material.
Application of two 30L AIRFLASH LIGHT cannons complete with circular EOLO fluidifiers in correspondence with the bridge formation area: thanks to the disintegrating action of the general shock waves from the cannon, the formation of bridges was no longer recorded and a continuous and regular influx was guaranteed of material within the production chain.
Thanks to the application of AIRFLASH cannons it is possible to implement a constant fluidification of the ensiled material through controlled injections of compressed air shock waves. These injections of air bubbles spread throughout the material maintaining a good level of fluidization which thus naturally tends to flow towards the extraction point. Depending on the conformation of the storage structures and the type of material stored, the combination of AIRFLASH with the EOLO fluidifiers, shock wave distribution grids which allow both to amplify the range of action of the single cannon and to spread the shock wave along the internal walls of the storage structure, canceling the friction effect between material and wall.
It is important to highlight that the cannons have a direct effect on the material without affecting the storage structure. In applications for the food industry, silos are often equipped with material recovery systems (augers, vibrated bottoms, pneumatic transport systems, etc.). It is underlined that the shock waves generated by the cannon do not interfere with these systems nor with the regulation and dosing systems: the action of the AIRFLASH cannon is aimed precisely at guaranteeing the regular supply of material to the dosing, weighing and transport systems.
