Ash deposits and consequent encrustation along the tube bundles of the heat exchanger. The presence of material deposits on the exchanger tubes drastically reduces the heat exchange capacity with consequent lowering of the energy efficiency of the exchanger and unnecessary waste of energy.
Installation of AIRFLASH cannon system with TITAN-00 valves for application in high temperature areas. The system solution adopted is the PPI Pick-Power-Impulser layout: an innovative reinterpretation of traditional cannon systems which sees the elimination of traditional cannon tanks in favor of the creation of a tank pipe common to all the firing valves installed. Thanks to PPI it was possible to create the compressed air cleaning system despite the narrow spaces available for installation.
The installation of the AIRFLASH system, with cyclical activation, prevented the formation of deposits and encrustations of ash and other materials on the tube bundles of the heat exchanger. This guarantees the maintenance of optimal operating conditions and performance of the heat exchanger.
Furthermore, the TITAN firing valve selected for this application belongs to the DOPPIO ZERO range specifically designed for linear insertion into the PPI tank pipeline. TITAN was highly appreciated by the customer as it allows ordinary maintenance operations to be carried out without removing the valve body from use: the firing head can in fact be removed in a single block from the body.
Typical applications: declogging of ash, lime, gypsum, refiom (residues from the purification of fumes from municipal waste incinerators), etc.
