How can AIRFLASH® optimize and streamline your production plant?

Thanks to the AIRFLASH® compressed air cannons, companies producing feed, grains, flours, etc. can streamline the management of their storage silos. The AIRFLASH® cannons generate shock waves with direct action on the silage material, these discharges of compressed air under pressure (Pmax 10bar) break up and prevent the formation of bridges and encrustations that can make it difficult to extract material from storage structures, typically: silos, hoppers, load cells, etc.

- Reduction of plant downtime: depending on the type of ensiled material and the extraction frequency, the cyclic activation of AIRFLASH® shots allows to counteract the bridging phenomenon, ensuring a constant flow of material from the storage structure and therefore a constant supply of material within the production line

- Efficiency of storage structures: AIRFLASH® is an excellent ally in eliminating the rat-holling phenomenon, the shock wave generated by AIRFLASH® can in fact be oriented according to the shape of the storage structure and the type of compaction and encrustation present; the correct positioning of AIRFLASH® in fact allows to implement a good cleaning action on the internal surfaces of the storage structure. Another plus: unlike more traditional vibration systems, AIRFLASH® unblocks and fluidifies the material without subjecting the storage structure to shaking, thus extending its useful life

- Maintaining the quality of the ensiled material: in addition to counteracting the formation of bridges and encrustations, the cleaning action of AIRFLASH® prevents the formation of dead zones of stagnation of the material. This aspect is fundamental in the case of storage of degradable organic materials: by preventing the formation of stagnation zones, AIRFLASH® allows a continuous and constant replacement of the stored material, thus preserving its quality.

Which AIRFLASH® cannons are most suitable for application in the feed sector?

- AIRFLASH® LIGHT for equipping small and medium-sized silos. Air-cannon with DN50 firing mouth, from 5Lt to 30LT, it is particularly appreciated for its compact dimensions and ease of maintenance.

- AIRFLASH® EXTREME for equipping large-sized silos. Air-cannon with DN100 firing mouth, from 50Lt to 150Lt. EXTREME is also compatible with our IANUS shock wave diverter valve which allows you to duplicate the firing mouths served by the same cannon, thus optimizing costs and installation space.

- AIRFLASH® SBLOKKER the latest addition to the AIRFLASH® range is characterized by a 1”G, 2”G and 3”G firing mouth and tanks from 1Lt to 25LT. Suitable for application on load cells, hoppers and small silos. SBLOKKER is innovative because it combines both the firing head and the EOLO device in a single product: EOLO is essential for the management of fine and powdery grain materials as it expands the range of action of the shock wave.
